The West Coast Eagles recently celebrated the loyalty of its 10-year members during a Beneath our Wings member recognition function.

The event, held at Domain Stadium's John Worsfold Room, featured an extensive interview with West Coast Eagles chief executive Trevor Nisbett and current players Jamie Cripps and Jeremy McGovern by MC Glen Jakovich

Auzzie the wedge-tailed eagle and her handler Yvonne Sitko from the WA Birds of Prey Centre were also on hand to entertain the dedicated supporters.

Sitko discussed how she and the fans’ favourite bird of prey came to have an association with the club and what she is doing to prepare Auzzie for the club’s possible move to the new Perth Stadium.

The stadium was the hot topic of the night and Nisbett addressed members’ concerns regarding the pending transition.

He reassured the crowd that the club was working hard to ensure the best agreement for the members and football in Western Australia.

Before the event wrapped up the door prizes were drawn, with first place taking home a 2016 team and coach signed guernsey, second place collected a 2016 team and coach signed football and third place won a coach and captain signed cap.

Members took a last-chance opportunity to join Jakovich for a photo with the 2006 premiership cup, which was won a year before they signed up as official West Coast supporters.
